More often than not commercials come out for new movies and I get excited and mentally plan to go see at least one or two of them. It rarely ever happens. Rarely. Ever.
I have a friend who seems to have movie quotes always at the ready, and when he references one during a conversation I mostly stare at him with the glazed over look of someone who is very confused. I have seen so few movies. So, when asked the question “What is your all time favorite movie? and Why is it your favorite? I have a hard time answering.
However, I will say I love the movie “Grease” and I watch it any time I catch it while flipping channels on TV. It’s just a classic, and I love John Travolta in his pre-cosmetic surgery days! Another favorite when I just want stupid (I mean, really stupid) humor is “Water Boy”. It’s probably one of the dumbest movies ever, but it makes me laugh every time. It also is one of the only movies I think I know a quote from – “That is some high quality H2O.” And to be fair, I don’t even know if that really is right quote!
When I do go to the movies I like to use Fandango because I can order my tickets online and just walk right up to the popcorn counter when I arrive. Check out my post about Fandango if you missed it in the past!
I’m joining Crossroads Media Hub and some blogging friends of mine in the 30 Days of Writing Prompts – June 2014. I am not promising a post every single day, but you never know. There are some fun prompts on the list. Want to join the fun? Why don’t you!? It’s the perfect way to get back into writing if you’ve been stuck for ideas, fun to read what others write about the same subject…and, well, just fun in general!
