I am beginning my journey toward publishing a book, and I hope you will follow along!
This website is for my upcoming book 25+ Reasons not to have Kids which hopefully will be available in the next 3 months.
On May 31, 2016 I launched a Kickstarter Campaign to raise money for the initial upfront costs needed to get a book from thought to print.
The money raised from this Kickstarter campaign will help to fund up-front costs associated with the printing and publishing of my book.
The costs include:
- Copyediting
- Cover Design
- Book Layout Format Design
- Mountain Arbor Press Soft Cover ISBN
- Barcode With The Price
- Library of Congress Control Number
- Pre-Publication Copyright Registration
- On-Line selling Set Up Fee
- Initial run of 25 books
If more than $1,750 is raised I will be able to print more books up front versus the higher cost of printing on demand.
- $1,750 raised covers all of the above
- $1,950 raised covers all of the above PLUS 25 books {total 50 books}
- $2,350 raised covers all of the above PLUS 75 books {total 100 books}
- $3,500 raised covers all of the above PLUS 225 books {total 250 books}
- $4,900 raised covers all of the above PLUS 475 books {total 500 books}
I will be working directly with a project manager at a local publishing office to help bring the book to fruition. Once funds are raised the printing process can begin!
